I picked up my DeVoe Blanca that I had outfitted with RMC Tall Gold Pickups and a out board Poly-Drive II. The install of the pickups was done by Paul Schwartz at PeekamoosePeekamoose in NYC
The install looks good guitar sounded good at the shop. Looking forward to running it through the Roland GK-20.

Hi Victor,
how do you like the RMC?
does the midi track tight with your playing (fast runs picado, etc..)?
did the acoustic sound of the guitar change after the RMC install?
Is there a way to combine the LR Baggs Anthem to midi?
David
Out of all the pickups I’ve used over the years the RMC Gold Pickups and Poly-Drive II is my favorite setup. I don’t think if the install is done proper ally there’s a big change it tone. My Sadle was compensated and so were the RMC pickups. I’m also using the Fishman Aura Sprectum DI with the DPA or Neunan on a Spruce Cyprus back and sides tone shape. This really seem to work well I have the blend 40 pickup and 60 Aura bass and treble flat and cut a bit on mid. As far as tracking with midi it’s great I’m using the Roland GR 55, and USB to a Mac Book Pro running Specratronics Omnisphere. DAW Pro Tools 9. I’m going to put RMC pickups on my Cordoba F10 soon as well (once it arrives) as far as extra pickups no problems you have two unused wires and ground to run other signals, mic or pickup. The LR Baggs Anthum and Tru Mic are to be used together. I would go with a Bareet mic or Pick Up the World Transducer. RMC is also working on somthing to be announced at NAMM.
I’m using the RMC and running it to the Fishman Aura and then a little eq on the mixing board a mid cut a treble boost as well as a low boost. I also use the DPA 4099G mic at times when I can
Hi there has not been any noticeable tone change on the Blanca (guitar with RMC Pickups) if there is its just in ones head I think.
