Back Axe Update

The Back Axe worked really good going thrugh the airport. I am using it when traveling with the DeVoe and the in Calton Tour Case (Extra Heavy Duty) then a Colorado Case Cover for the Calton case. The Back Axe wraps around the cover and clips giving me two shoulder straps, and a handle. I also have access to my normal case handele.
Update 10.7.08 This is a great idea for carring around your case. With the waight of a Calton case this was really nice to use as I was in and out of airports. It makes travling with the guitar much easyier. I had the Colorado case cover the Calton case and the straps over the case. Also easy to carry on the plane and put in the overhead compartment. Worked very well and will use this when I travel. Thanks Back Axe.

Well my Back Axe came from Elderly Instruments this morning. They were able to overnight it from MI. However the manufactur who is in CN was not able to ship one out over a three week time period. While Mark from Back Axe did refund the money and said it was unacceptable that was on the 22, then I asked him to overnight it and call me, he never did. I’m not saying that this is a bad product I’m looking forward to using it. However the customer service and poor excuses are not welcomed. I really don’t like when you have paid for a service and some one just says sorry with out any effort to make things right. I wish the Ritz Carlton philosophy was taught in every school, religious institution and governent agency like DMV and Social Seceurity for those who are disabled or handycaped. I well enughf hear. I’m looking forward to my trip out to CA to see Charlene, Charles, Thomas, Jason, and Misty the cat. As well as all the other great Califorinians and wine country folk. Also thanks to Michal M. For your gracious gifts to make this all happen. So me and my DeVoe & Numann are going to Cali!

Church is not a building. Church is not an event that takes place on Sundays. I know, its how we think of it. “I go to First Baptist.” “We are members of St. Luke’s.” “Is it time to go to church?” Much to our surprise, that is not how the Bible uses the term. Not at all. When the Scripture talks about church, it means community. The little fellowships of the heart that are outposts of the kingdom. A shared life. They worship together, eat together, pray for one another, go on quests together. They hang out together, in each other’s homes. When Peter is sprung from prison, “he went to the house of Mary the mother of John…where many people had gathered and were praying” (Acts 12:12).

Anytime an army goes to war or an expedition takes to the field, it breaks down into little platoons and squads. And every chronicle of war or quest will tell you that the men and women who fought so bravely fought for each other. That’s where the acts of heroism and sacrifice take place, because that’s where the devotion is. You simply can’t be devoted to a mass of people; devotion takes place in small units, just like a family.

We have stopped short of being an organization; we are an organism instead, a living and spontaneous association of individuals who know one another intimately, care for each other deeply, and feel a kind of respect for one another that makes rules and bylaws unnecessary. A group is the right size, I would guess, when each member can pray for every other member, individually and by name.

This is the wisdom of Brother Andrew, who smuggled Bibles into communist countries for decades. It’s the model, frankly, of the church in nearly every country but the U.S. Now, I’m not suggesting you don’t do whatever it is you do on Sunday mornings. I’m simply helping you accept reality – that whatever else you do, you must have a small fellowship to walk with you and fight with you and bandage your wounds. This is essential

5. Patient has 2 individual sessions and 6 group sessions per week(one per day) with their Christian primary therapist

If we can populate this program in the next 4-6 months, we can grow this into a 24/7 program so that all of their groups are led by Christian therapists and all the groups have a definite Christian worldview.
Please help us make this CHRISTIAN program work so we can have this valuable unique resource that accepts insurance and prescribes psych meds and does detox in our area instead of having the only options being 1000 miles away in Florida, Arizona, or California.

Kensington Battery Pack and Charger for iPhone and iPod

Picked up on of these chargers from Apple online and will use it for my trips to NYC on the train and when I fly, as well as in the office and around town. Looks good and for 100 hours of play back in music, 21hours video, and 6 hours of talk time. I should be good.

Kathy’s dad. He was in the doctors office in Denver CO and collapsed.
He is in transit to the Er. They suspect Pneaumia that’s all I know
right now he has had two battles with cancer. Please pray for him his
soul and the family this came out of nowhere. Vange is his wife and
she is with him right now. Looks like Kathy may go out later tonight or tomorrow am.
