Neumann TLM 102 is a Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The Neumann TLM 102 is a Cardioid Condenser Microphone, well it’s not like my M 149 Tube mic but that was 5000.00 these are only 640.00-700.00 street price. I think I’m going to try one of these out soon. I’ve talked with a few people who really like the mic. It’s received good reviews as well. I’ve heard the mics on classical guitar and they sounded great. Should be fun to hear how this mic sounds.

Estes CO Visit

Otter Box Defender case for iPad

Otter Box Defender iPad case is excellent. I have used a few a Leather iPad case by Yoobao, Apple, DODO, and this one is my favorite by far. Feels good in the hands too soft rubber. There are three layers of protection. My case is black ( don’t know if there are other colors) picked up the case for 89.00 from G2 Computers in Washinton Crossing PA. The case is not very heavy but dose add some weight. The feel of the case is very comfortable in my hands and I really am happy with how well the screen is protected. All the switches on /off, volume, headphone jack, speaker mic ports are accessible and the connector jack is protected very well. No dust or grim will make it’s way there. There’s an easy to remove back plate to let you get to the connector for power or adapters for USB or SD cards.

Fishman Loudbox Mini

This look like a nice small practice amp or small gigs. Only 20 lbs. For me the only issue is that there is no phantom XLR power.

Arrived today from Sweetwater.
Fishman does it again what a great amp for the solo player who needs a small PA but not so loud or for intimate performances such as cocktail hour, weddings, coffee shop, or any small location for something like 40-60 people. This is not the Fishman Solo 220 amp however it works great if you just need to amplify your guitar, voice and mp3 files. I use the DPA 4099 Guitar mic which ness phantom power. This amp dose not have phantom power so you need to supply phantom power for some mics. I am using the ART Phantom II. So far I am getting great results and the DeVoe sounds great. This little amp is light too 19lbs. So it’s easy to cary around. I have been told by Fishman that they hope to offer a small case for the amp some time early next year.
